Fall Wedding….

I love fall – the colors, the smells, the colors, the holidays, the colors….have I said I love the colors?? Here in Central California there’s a common misconception that we don’t have fall – that we jump straight from ‘hot enough for ya?’ to ‘yes, the school is on fog delay!’ It’s not true, though. Fresno, has a beautiful fall. It only lasts a few weeks, but we do have fall; and how much you see of it depends on where you are, and on where you’re looking. I live south of the city limits – in the middle of orchards and vineyards. Right now, the orchards are a cacophony of reds and yellows with lingering flashes of green. The one across the street from has gone from green to yellow to orange just in the last week. I had the honor this morning of taking portraits for couple who is getting married tomorrow night. We did their pictures in the Japanese Gardens of Woodward Park – and Fall gave Woodward a double dose of color this year! I’m hoping to be doing some portrait work over the next 2 weeks at the park before the colors fade and blow away. In the meantime, here are a few I got this morning!

Beautiful pics! Just LOVE all the fall colors too! Wish I had my little ones Christmas outfits all coordinated to take advantage of these beautiful trees while it lasts…again wonderful pictures!
