A Drive Through the Foothills

It’s been a while since I took the kids anywhere out of the ‘city’, and it’s been a while since I took their pictures (officially!), so today, I loaded them up and drove out Kings Canyon towards Wonder Valley….there had been a big old house made entirely of river rocks that stood by the side of the road last spring when I was there, and I thought it would be a good place for portraits. Well would have been is right – we got there and the whole thing had been torn down – nothing but a flat space of dirt. Well, the barn was still there, so we used that, and few spots by the side of the road. It was really had to get Connor to cooperate with the whole ‘group dynamic’ for a shot of all three kids together, but the one I got I like in b/w better than color! Anyway, here’s what I ended up with!
